November 13, 2016, Taikang Insurance Group and Asia's largest, the world's second largest listed medical group IHH Healthcare Group (hereinafter referred to as "IHH") jointly announced that Taikang invests more than 1 billion RMB stake in IHH's PCH Holding Pte that focuses on the development of China's business, and reached a full strategic cooperation with IHH wholly-owned subsidiary Parkway Medical Group. The investment is carried out by Taikang's Taikang Assets. The investment will be used mainly for the development of Parkway China's hospitals and clinics, including a number of clinics in key economic circles.
Taikang and IHH will carry out strategic cooperation in the field of healthcare. The two sides will rely on Taikang's customer resources, industrial chain resources and service network, with IHH brand advantage and professional operating experience, jointly set up clinics and hospital services for the domestic high-end customers in the international community.
